Which game modes are possible?+
DarkRP, TTT, Sandbox, Prop Hunt, Murder or your own gamemode: you upload your addons and Lua files just like on your own machine.
Can I use a Steam Workshop collection?+
Yes. You provide your collection ID and the server downloads it on startup, then offers it to players as they connect.
Do I need a separate content server?+
For a big DarkRP, yes: a FastDL server makes connections much faster. It runs fine on a small Linux VPS alongside, and we'll show you how to hook it up.
How many players can I host?+
Garry's Mod depends mostly on CPU clock speed and the number of loaded addons. The practical limit comes faster with a heavy gamemode than with Sandbox — give yourself margin.
How do I manage the server day to day?+
Web console, file manager, one-click restart and sub-accounts for your admins. No command line needed.
